Our Community Together: West Virginia HIV Outbreak Response

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention labeled West Virginia’s most recent HIV outbreak the “most concerning” in the United States. While we continue to battle the COVID-19 pandemic, the opioid and HIV epidemics continue to impact our communities.

The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources and the West Virginia Regional Partner of the MidAtlantic AIDS Education and Training Center have developed an upcoming zoom webinar series!

Free continuing education credits will be provided for all virtual trainings. Topics covered throughout the series will include compassion fatigue, HIV testing across multiple health care settings, HIV treatment and prevention, stigma, and more.
