Trainings for Case Managers in Virginia

In collaboration with the Virginia Department of Health (VDH), Division of Disease Prevention and Virginia Commonwealth University Local Partner Site

The Virginia Department of Health has established Virginia’s HIV Case Management Standards of Service.  These are the minimum standards by which all Ryan White Part B-funded HIV case managers in Virginia must abide.  These standards have also been adopted by the Norfolk Ryan White Part A program. They outline, among other things, training requirements for HIV case management programs in Virginia.  The MAAETC Local Partner site at VCU has collaborated with VDH to develop the following courses which satisfy these training requirements.

Virginia’s HIV Case Management Standards of Service can be found here.
