Virginia HIV/AIDS Resource and Consultation Center (VHARCC)

Collaboration between the Virginia Department of Health, Virginia Commonwealth University & Inova Juniper Local Partner Sites of the MAAETC and Eastern Virginia Medical School.  The Virginia MAAETC Local Partner Sites are able to leverage the joint missions of the MAAETC and VHARCC in dual-funded programming to expand reach of and access to HIV training and technical assistance in Virginia.

VHARCC’s mission is to expand quality care for persons living with HIV/AIDS through multidisciplinary educational programming for health care providers practicing throughout Virginia. VHARCC was founded in 1989 to meet the needs of the federal and state priorities for HIV prevention, healthcare services and ending the HIV Epidemic.
