Learning Objectives:
By the end of this session, the learner will be able to:
- Define the HIV Continuum of Care and its role in monitoring patient HIV health outcomes.
- Discuss approaches to encourage ART uptake by patients newly diagnosed with HIV.
- Discuss the role of metrics to monitor HIV engagement and retention in care using existing data.
- Identify factors that impede retention in HIV care and discuss strategies to promote re-engagement for those lost to care.
