This training event will provide timely, relevant information to HIV care providers on the state of HIV care and coverage systems in Pennsylvania in the new ACA environment. 

Presentations will focus on:

• Current status of the state Ryan White, ADAP and Medicaid Program, and the landscape of the state insurance exchange plans

• Challenges facing HIV care providers:  limited networks, restrictive benefits designs, reporting requirements
• Opportunities: maximizing reimbursement; improving long-term sustainability through cooperative partnerships, contracting agreements, alternative business models

• Challenging systemic issues: reporting discriminatory practices, opportunities for advocacy.

CME/CE credit available for MDs, DOs, PAs, NPs, RNs, PharmDs, Case Managers and Social Workers who attend this event.
