By the end of the session, participants will be able to:

• Critically analyze the integration of pathophysiology, psychopathology, pharmacotherapeutics, health promotion and access to care for clients with HIV through an interprofessional lens. 
• Discuss the history of HIV in the United States and the importance of early advocacy and activism on service provision and delivery
• Examine feelings and biases related to HIV and AIDS to develop awareness and sensitivity to the stigma around HIV/AIDS and the impact it continues to have on care and treatment
