Event Objectives:
- Discuss the epidemiologic and clinical impact of Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD) on HIV disease progression, including effects on antiretroviral adherence, viral suppression, and antiretroviral resistance risk.
- Evaluate the safety, efficacy, and clinical considerations of FDA-approved pharmacotherapies for AUD in people living with HIV.
- Develop an integrated, multidisciplinary care plan that concurrently addresses AUD and HIV management to improve patient outcomes.
