Kristin Walker, RN, MSN spoke with Dr. Short to discuss his consultations with a Chester County obstetric
practice that had a pregnant patient with substance use disorder and HIV. Dr. Short provided
instruction regarding the appropriate clinical management and best practices. Dr. Short indicated the need
for perinatal HIV education for this practice. Dr. Short will provide contact information for
those he consulted with and Kristin Walker will follow up to arrange for training.
