Learning Objectives:

By the end of this session, the learner will be able to:

1. Describe the key components of a comprehensive HIV care continuum—including screening, prevention (PrEP/PEP), diagnosis, treatment initiation, and long-term management—within the primary care setting.
2. Explore the role of interprofessional team members (e.g., nurses, nurse practitioners, medical assistants, pharmacists, behavioral health providers) in the delivery of HIV care and prevention services within a primary care setting.
3. Identify workflow strategies and clinical decision support tools to routinely screen for HIV and initiate or manage antiretroviral therapy (ART) for newly diagnosed or previously established patients.
