By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Identify the five levels of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs as they specifically apply to People with HIV in rural settings.
- Analyze how unmet physiological and safety needs (e.g. housing, transportation) directly correlate with poor antiretroviral therapy (ART) adherence.
- Implement at least two screening questions or strategies to identify "survival-level" barriers during a standard clinical encounter.
