This training will highlight key considerations when prescribing HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and post exposure prophylaxis (PEP) in a clinical setting. 

Learning objectives:

• • • Identify individuals who may benefit from PrEP using status neutral approach
    • Increase comfort in counseling patients about PrEP, evaluating their suitability and monitoring their progress while on PrEP
    • Discuss CDC’s recommended PrEP regimens, including dosing, safety, efficacy, testing, initiation, follow-up assessments, and side effects
    • Implement other types of STI prevention
