Self-care and navigating vicarious trauma are essential skills for clinicians working in any helping profession, but especially those working long-term in the HIV field.  This conference will: 

1.  Discuss the impact vicarious trauma has on service delivery

2.  Identify strategies for interdisciplinary providers to build resiliency, enhance self-care, create supportive workplaces, and work to create compassion satisfaction in the work they do

3.  Highlight the vital role of Social Work, Nursing, Clinical Providers, and Community Health Workers in advocacy and access to care and how setting healthy boundaries make that work possible
