Event Description
This workshop provides an overview of loss and grief as they intersect with HIV care, particularly in the context of serving individuals who are homeless and living with advanced illness. Drawing from the mission and values of Joseph’s House, participants will explore how grief shows up in the daily work of care—whether through the loss of health, relationships, stability, or life itself—and how it impacts residents, staff, and the broader community. Through dialogue and reflection, the session will highlight ways to recognize grief, honor dignity, and accompany one another with compassion and love.
