Description
This in-person Philadelphia conference is designed to give FQHC participants in the MAAETC BPHC Community of Practice the opportunity to network and share lessons learned about implementing PrEP in primary care settings. Topics will include:
- Clinical PrEP update including injectable formulations
- Panel discussion on different work-flow models of PrEP implementation in primary care (nurse led, imbedded PrEP navigators, Medical Assistant-led routine annual opt-out HIV testing)
- Panel discussion on overcoming insurance/benefits barriers to PrEP
- Case Discussion small group activity
- Planning/visioning for the future: Goals for your health center PrEP programs, and needs assessment for planning FY2026 Community of Practice
No fee, including breakfast, lunch and CE credits (Nursing, Social Work, and CME).
