About:The MidAtlantic AIDS Education and Training Center, University of Pittsburgh Regional Partner, is hosting a dinner symposium focused on promising practices in HIV prevention, care, and treatment to address emerging and existing clinical challenges in all vulnerable populations. Clinical HIV experts will present content on HIV testing, delivery, and counseling strategies, pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP), and antiretroviral therapy (ART), while discussing how to navigate barriers and challenges to successful retention in care and adherence. |

Nursing The MidAtlantic AIDS Education and Training Center is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association Approver Unit an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. This event is eligible for 2.5 credit hours. EMS ConED The MidAtlantic AIDS Education and Training Center is approved as a provider of emergency medical services continuing educational development. This event is eligible for 2.5 credit hours. Certificate of Attendance Continuing Education credits issued for participation in CE activity may not apply toward license renewal in all states. Location:This in-person dinner symposium will take place in the Yehl Ballroom in the Waldron Campus Center at Gannon University. The Waldron Campus Center is located at 628 Peach Street in Erie, PA 16501 in the center of Gannon University's campus. Street or garage parking is available for a fee. |
