- Explore the social, cultural and environmental factors that play a role in the aging of older adults
- Explain HIV transmission, symptoms and stages of disease process.
- Describe West Virginia HIV epidemiology.
- Explain current HIV prevention methods.
- To explore the unique challenges faced by aging individuals living with HIV.
- To examine the intersectionality of HIV and aging, considering unique factors to people living with HIV.
- To discuss the physiological changes associated with aging in HIV-positive individuals and their implications for disease management and treatment.
