In this 4th annual program to acknowledge National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day.

Objectives: Participants will be able to:

• Identify effective approaches to integrating HIV care into perinatal services for people with Substance Use Disorder.
• Describe strategies for engaging adolescents and young adults in PrEP care. 
• Incorporate support for women with HIV in community settings.
• Describe the benefits of peer support relationships for women who are newly diagnosed with HIV. 

Speakers will include Florence Momplaisir, MD; Navid Roder, MD; Nia Bhadra-Heintz, MD; Roberta Laguerre-Frederique, MD; Helena Kwakwa, MD; Kim Mclellan, CRNP; Ellen Tedaldi, MD; Ciarra "CICI" Covin and Masonia Traylor, HIV Peer Advocates; Nicole "Nikki" Ellis and Chelsea Sormilich, Perinatal Recovery Peer Specialists; Kimberly Arnold, PhD.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, nursing credits will not be available for this program.

Intended Audience

Physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, social workers, doulas, case managers, substance use and peer support specialists, and all those on the HIV care team.
