This preceptorship was designed to create an overview on Ryan White services and HIV care. The preceptorship will follow the schedule below
- 0800-0900- Introduction education about program (statistics about Delaware and Holloway Program), HIV , Hepatitis, TB, STI, and medication adherence- this will be a brief overview and a workbook given
- 0900-0945- ID Provider- discuss trends in HIV, HCV, STD care and current treatment regimens, etc
- 0945-1030- Nursing- (Discuss overall education and adherence that nursing can perform, see an appointment and understand the trauma informed care approach)
- 1030-1115- Larry or SW- (discuss current trends in MH and how to employ behavioral modification with HIV and ID patients)
- 1115-1200- Pharm D- ( Discuss medication adherence, names of newer medications, and what viral suppression and undetectable means)
This specific preceptorship was developed to meet the needs of the requestor.
