Description: This workshop will present information on the diagnosis of Gender Dysphoria and best practices when working with the transgender and gender diverse population.  

Audience: Best suited to those who are new to working with this population.  It will be useful to those who provide clinical care, case management, and support staff roles.

Objectives: After this presentation, learners will be able to:

1. Understand and be able to communicate the differences between sexual orientation and Gender Identity
2. Understand and be able to communicate on the diagnosis of Gender Dysphoria and the associated symptoms
3. Understand and communicate best practice when working with a transgender or gender diverse individual
