The program covers the PEP for HIV exposed individuals in the occupational medicine setting and includes Hepatitis C and B testing. Topics include assessment of risk, time frame for medications to prevent HIV infection, medications and treatment of the exposed worker and other tests.
Faculty: Dr. Jay Kostman received his medical degree from Yale and completed his Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease training at Temple University Hospital. He has been the Principal Investigator on Clinical Trials in HIV/AIDS for years, including in NIH sponsored clinical trials networks. He has extensive experience in the treatment of HIV, HCV, and HIV/HCV Co-Infection. He is currently Medical director for the Jon Bell Health Center at Philadelphia.

Exposed workers may also call the PEPline, but they should seek local medical attention first.
