As the United States strives towards the aspirational goal of reducing new HIV diagnoses to below epidemic levels, the age distribution of people with HIV will shift to older ages. Influences on morbidity will also shift, including ART initiation earlier in the HIV disease course through test and treat interventions, younger age at ART initiation, and initiation with treatments that are anticipated to have lower long-term health effects. During this session, we will visualize the shifting age and multimorbidity distribution as people continue to age with HIV over the next decade. This session will feature Dr. Keri Althoff, Associate Professor of Epidemiology at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
