MCHD Lunch & Learn: HIV & Millennials & Gen Zers
Many young people today lack the historical context of HIV. They never lived through the safe sex debate. Over time, the general understanding of HIV/AIDS has diminished. Education about preventive screenings and treatment is the key to keeping the Gen Z Generation healthy. This session will explore ways to reach this audience. Objectives include:
1. Define Gen Zers and Millennials in the context of the HIV Epidemic.
2. Discuss techniques to approach diagnosis treatment and prevention with this population.
3. Discuss helpful tools and apps to engage Gen Zers and Millennials.
