So You Want to be an LGBTQ Affirming Non-Profit?  Is your MoCo based nonprofit a safe and affirming place for LGBTQ clients?  Learn basic tips for supporting LGBTQ communities in the health and human services environment.  Objectives include:

1.  Describe LGBTQ health disparities and related disparities.

2.  Understand the experiences of LGBTQ people trying to navigate healthcare and social services.

3.  List ways healthcare providers and other social service agencies communicate both exclusion and inclusion of LGBTQ communities in the health and human services environment.

This program offers 1.5 Nursing and Social Work CEUs.
