HIV Clinical Update, Session 3:  Hep C Update

This presentation will give an overview of the burden of HCV infection in Maryland and also discuss current state led prevention, screening, diagnosis, linkage to care and treatment of HCV infection.  Objectives include:

1.  Provide an overivew of Hepatitis C infection in Maryland, based on viral hepatitis reporting and other available data.

2.  Describe state led activites related to HCV prevention care and cure.

3.  Discuss lessons learned from efforts to integrate HCV services into primary care settings.

Nursing and social work 1.5 CEUs are offered for this event.
