This event will focus on guidelines for blood donation and Men who have sex with men (MSM).
Objectives:
- Outline the current FDA regulated guidelines regarding MSM blood donation within the US.
- Define “Personal Risk Assessment” and discuss ways in which it can be implemented in the US regarding “at-risk populations” donating blood product.
