Session 1 Objectives:
- Discuss the classes of antiretrovirals used for HIV treatment
- Discuss methods of developing antiretroviral regimens for HIV treatment.
- Discuss individualized HIV treatment plans with regards with regards to antiretroviral toxicities and adherence
- Describe medication adherence intervention methods
- Discuss the role of interprofessional health care teams in treatment adherence
