This training is being presented in conjunction with the Howard University College of Medicine's Office of Faculty Development. Participants in the training will:
- Learn about the recent dynamics in the epidemiology of pediatric HIV infection in the USA and regionally;
- Become familiar with the current approaches to the management of children and adolescents living with HIV according to the national treatment guidelines; and
- Understand the principles of perinatal HIV transmission and antiretroviral treatment of children.
