This conference will be focused solely on HIV and Women. According to CDC 2016 data more than 7,000 women received an HIV diagnosis in 2016. Black/African American women are disproportionately affected by HIV, compared with women of other races/ethnicities. Conference attendees will gain knowledge of issues related to the HIV positive and the HIV negative female as well as issues related to pregnancy options and referrals.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the WVU School of Medicine and MAAETC.
