ANA Urges US Department of Health and Human Services to Declare Nurse Staffing Shortage a National Crisis
The American Nurses Association (ANA) is urging the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to declare the current nurse staffing shortage a national crisis. Along with this declaration, the ANA has offered policy solutions for HHS to implement to address the short- and long-term challenges this staffing shortage has created. The ANA says they are ready to work with HHS to finalized and implement these policies.
