About:The MidAtlantic AIDS Education and Training Center, University of Pittsburgh Regional Partner, is hosting a half-day, hybrid training that will provide foundational education on HIV and sexual health history taking for clinicians at Erie Veterans Affairs Medical Center and Health Clinics. |

Accreditation*In order to receive a certificate of attendance or continuing education, all required evaluations must be completed in a timely manner. Please check in closer to the date of the event in regard to CEUs being offered for this program. Continuing Nursing Education (CNE): The MidAtlantic AIDS Education and Training Center is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association Approver Unit an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. This event is eligible for 3.5 credit hours. Continuing Medical Education (CME): In support of improving patient care, the University of Pittsburgh is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team. Physician (CME) - The University of Pittsburgh designates this live activity for a maximum of 3.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Other health care professionals will receive a certificate of attendance confirming the number of contact hours commensurate with the extent of participation in this activity. Certificate of Attendance (CoA): Continuing Education credits issued for participation in CE activity may not apply toward license renewal in all states. It is the responsibility of each participant to verify the requirements of their state licensing board(s). |
