 What’s New Update: STI, HIV, Hepatitis, Family Planning, and Addictions

The conference will focus on the integration efforts that support a collaborative healthcare approach. Current medical updates in services for STDs, HIV, TB, hepatitis, family planning and addictions will be discussed.

 This course has been designed for physicians, clinicians, nurses, counselors, educators, case managers, and intervention specialists working in family planning, addictions, TB/STD/HIV agencies and other programs. Continuing education credits provided (CME, CNE, CEU, CECU, CHES).

 OBJECTIVES

1. State current practice in the care and treatment of STDs, HIV, TB, and hepatitis

2. Explain how to screen clients for substance abuse issues

3. Describe the current methods of effective contraception
