This is a 3 day course geared to RN and NP for an understanding of STIs, HIV and treatment.  A variety of the listed topics will be discussed at this event.:  STI overview; Chlamydia/Gonorrhea; Vaginitis/Cervicitis, Hepatitis and Co-morbidities, HIV care, HPV, HSV, The Role of the DIS, Taking a Sexual History and Patients and Case Management.

  • Post-exposure Prophylaxis (PEP, occupational and non-occupational)
  • Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP)
  • Prevention of perinatal or mother-to-child transmission
  • Hepatitis B
  • Hepatitis C
