Course Description
This HIV clinical didactic training provides an update to healthcare clinicians on the care and treatment of HIV and AIDS-related opportunistic infections. All are welcome to attend however the content will be especially beneficial for Nurses, Pharmacists, Physicians and Advance Practice Professionals. Participants in this training should expect to leave this training with the ability to:
- Describe the most common opportunistic infections affecting patients with HIV
- Explain risk factors, common clinical presentations, and diagnostic data for these infections
- Identify treatment regimens with updated clinical evidence
