This training will educate Infection Control Nurses working within the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections. The first day will include the following training sessions:
- HIV and STI Testing Guideline in Pennsylvania State Prisons
- Substance Use Disorder and Medication-Assisted Treatment
- Tuberculosis in Correction Environments
- Hepatitis C Diagnosis and Treatment
- Delivering Test Results and Post-Test Patient Education
The Second day of training will include sessions reviewing internal policies and procedures.
