Let's collaborate to reduce HIV and STI incidence in our communities.
Please join us and your fellow health service providers and community members for a virtual town hall to discuss the current status of HIV and STIs in West Virginia on April 20, 2021 from 1-2 PM EST. During this program, we plan to provide an update on HIV and STI epidemiology and current testing during the COVID-19 pandemic from the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources. A member of the MidAtlantic AIDS Education and Training Center (MAAETC) will discuss HIV training, technical assistance, practice transformation programs, and capacity building services MAAETC can provide. Trina Scott, a community liaison from Gilead Sciences, will describe resources available to the community. After programatic introductions, our co-hosts will open up the event for a community discussion concerning best practices and referrals.
