This will be a closed session for Gilchrist Hospice staff presented by

Dr. Carla Alexander, Medical Director of Palliative Care @ UMD

Objectives:

Review current epidemiology and occupational exposure in US and Maryland
Clarify changes in disease management to understand as someone is dying
Discuss characteristics of 2 sub-populations at higher risk for dying
Address your questions regarding HIV near End of Life
