OSHA Administrative Regulations for Bloodborne Pathogens

Description

The OSHA Standards require staff training for Airborne and Bloodborne Pathogens. A comprehensive review of the bloodborne pathogens including HIV, HBV, HCV and others, includes signs, symptoms, risk groups, modes of transmission and post exposure prophylaxis in the event of an occupational exposure. Protective measure including PPE, barrier protection, surface disinfection and sterilization are outlined. A posttest evaluates comprehension of the materials presented.
