Reviewed four cases of perinatal clients with HIV. Discussion included updates on new funding for the perinatal support group for women living with HIV and new connections with a mobile alternative EMS (Philadelphia Fire Department) program whos goal is to improve maternal health. Concern expressed about HIV stigma perceived in the form of judgement about a client's potential decision to breastfeed from a hospital social worker. Stressed the importance of preconception counseling for a client who declines contraception and is open to having another pregnancy.
