Description

This in person series will take an interactive deep dive into topics designed to support staff in their efforts to End the HIV Epidemic. Topics explored will include a status neutral approach to mental health, opioid use, communication in the workplace, and serving communities at risk.
This session will focus on Trauma Informed Care in the setting of professionalism and teamwork/collaboration/workplace efficiency and empathy versus sympathy.  
Overall Objectives:
  1. By the end of this series, 80% of respondents will report an increased comfort level interacting with PWH who also have a mental health diagnosis.
  2. By the end of this series, 80% of participants will report an increased knowledge of tools and strategies to provide status-neutral services to patients seeking services at the Prince George's County Health Department.

Intended Audience

This is an educational series for the employees of the Prince George's County Health Department.
