Description

This program will provide an overview of gender-affirming hormonal therapy with information on screening, lab work, dosing regimens, monitoring and contraindications to prescribing hormones for adult and adolescent transgender and nonbinary individuals.

Objectives: Describe the rationale for gender-affirming hormonal treatment of adolescents; Explain hormonal dosing strategies for attaining physiologic masculine and feminine sex characteristics.

Continuing Medical Education credits will be offered.
