This training event aims to offer Health Care Providers with the knowledge and tools to ensure that LGBTQ+ patients receive equitable and culturally competent care.
This training will also assist in improving the general climate towards all LGBTQ+ persons.

Speaker: Brandon Benton MSN, APRN-CNP, FNP-BC. HIV Nurse Educator for the WV Regional Partner of the MidAtlantic AETC. Brandon is also Clinical Director for Mylan Puskar Health Right, a free clinic in Morgantown WV that offers Primary and specialized care to vulnerable, un-insured and under-insured patients.
Credits approved: Nursing, CME and Social Work. Important note: With attendance of the full event today and completion of all required evaluations (one will come after the program today and one will not come for about two weeks after the event). Participants can be eligible to receive CME, Nursing, or Social work credit. Please be advised that it will be at least two weeks (sometime after July 7th) before the second evaluation gets sent to you due to staffing changes at our West Virginia Regional Partner.
