Description

Interactive in-person HIV rapid testing training for Cabell County QRT staff interested in becoming certified HIV rapid testers. Upon completion of this training staff members will be able to:

  • Discuss laboratory process to maintain test kit integrity
  • Discuss Cabell County QRT rapid testing algorithm. 
  • Perform INSTI and Ora Quick rapid HIV tests, including running quality controls
  • Explain linkage to care process for rapid test results; continued prevention of HIV for negative results and linkage to care for HIV positive laboratory evidence of HIV infection.
