The Prevention Community of Practice (CoP) provides an opportunity for Federally Qualified Community Health Centers (FHQCs) in Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington, DC to learn from each other regarding increasing HIV testing, diagnosis, and prevention, including the provision of pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP). Health Resources and Services Administration’s (HRSA) Bureau of Primary Care and HIV/AIDS Bureau are supporting this initiative to partner with Ending the HIV Epidemic-funded FQHCs in the MAAETC region.

Program faculty will review key elements in preparing your health center for PrEP implementation, as well as best practices in assessing patient readiness for PrEP.
Learning Objectives:
As a result of attending this program, participants should be able to:
- Discuss key factors in site and patient readiness for PrEP
- Apply lessons learned to their work setting
- Incorporate quality improvement measures to increase PrEP implementation at their site
Intended Audience
These trainings are designed for FQHC healthcare professionals but are open to all audiences.
