This all-virtual series will expand upon specific content foundational for EMS workers in Pennsylvania.
GOAL:
This training program will provide HIV training and related topics for first responders.
- Courses will be also be recorded and archived for participant on-demand access

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
- Describe the basics of personal protective equipment usage to defend against blood borne pathogens.
- Define at least two HIV prevention tools in the professional setting.
- Understand streamlined guideline use of occupational post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP).
Participants will receive a certificate of attendance upon completion of the post-training evaluation.

Intended Audience
The training is designed for EMS and first responders in Pennsylvania. Interested EMS workers in other states are also welcome to attend but will only be able to receive a certificate of attendance.
