April Educational Topic: Unwinding of Continuous Medicaid Eligibility

At the start of the pandemic, Congress enacted the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA), which included a requirement that Medicaid programs keep people continuously enrolled until the COVID-19 public health emergency ends.  In recent bills, Congress set an end to the continuous enrollment. 

By the end of this session, we will:

• • Describe key points about the unwinding of the Medicaid continuous enrollment requirements
  • Discuss Delaware's plan for how they will resume routine operations when the provision ends
  • Explore the impact of these provisions on Delaware's Ryan White service population
