Description: This workshop will present information on the diagnosis of Gender Dysphoria and best practices when working with the transgender and gender diverse population.
Audience: Best suited to those who are new to working with this population. It will be useful to those who provide clinical care, case management, and support staff roles.
Accreditation: 1.5 CME will be offered for attending this event
Objectives: After this presentation, learners will be able to:
- Understand and be able to communicate the differences between sexual orientation and Gender Identity
- Understand and be able to communicate on the diagnosis of Gender Dysphoria and the associated symptoms
- Understand and communicate best practice when working with a transgender or gender diverse individual
