Met with Perinatal Medical Case Manager Program Coordinator to review four perinatal cases and discuss strategies for assisting pregnant and postpartum women with HIV. Topics discussed included creative solutions to the problem of women declining perinatal case management services; the possibility of offering PCM services to kinship care and foster care guardians/caretakers of infants since mothers increasingly do not have custody due to substance use disorder; and whether to once again outstation PCMs at North Philadelphia prenatal care sites as a way to reach women with SUD who are inconsistently or not attending pernatal care.
