After this presentation, the participant should be able to:
- Identify the mechanisms of hypercoagulability for COVID-19
- Explain the difference between guideline and protocol criteria for venous thromboembolism (VTE) prophylaxis in COVID-19
- Identify significant drug interactions in the treatment of VTE in patients with HIV
