THIS IS THE LIVE VIRTUAL COMPONENT OF THE FACTS COURSE.
The Facts course provides information concerning the spectrum of HIV disease, HIV epidemiology, HIV antibody and rapid testing, legal issues, partner counseling and referral services, risk assessment and reduction. Facts is a pre-requisite for the other two courses in the series: The Fundamentals and Waived Rapid.
This live virtual portion of Facts covers the first two modules: HIV Epidemiology and the HIV Medical Overview.
In order to complete the full Facts course and obtain a certificate of completion (which is required to take Fundamentals and Waived Rapid, the other two courses in the series), participants must also complete the remaining modules found on Virginia Train, listed under "The Facts - HIV Prevention Series."
Participants must create an account on Virginia Train in order to access the modules and complete the course. Please see the Virginia Train instructions attached in order to create an account and access the modules.
