CROI Update Focused on HIV Complication & Co Morbidities

The Learning objective are:

1)      To expand current knowledge of risk for certain HIV-related complications and identify factors (e.g. demographic, lifestyle and behavioral, genetic) that modify these risks, based on emerging data

2)      To apply interventions that can reduce risks for these complications and improve outcomes in patients experiencing them

3)      To understand possible pathophysiologic mechanisms for some HIV complications

4)      To identify ways that the health team (physicians, NPs, Pharmacists, nurses, nutritionists, social workers and mental health professionals) can collaborate for better outcomes in patients at risk or experiencing HIV complications
